Paul McGill is something of a standard in today’s jazz guitar world with his Super Ace. His instruments are played by artists such as Earl Klugh, Peter White, Marc Antoine, and Strunz and Farah.
The guitar unplugged is a marvelous acoustic instrument with balanced tone, extreme sustain, and charming sound. Plugging it in, with Paul McGill’s newly developed pre-amplification system, causes this fine sound to be transmitted to amplification systems with near perfect fidelity. That is, one hears it amplified with no distortion or change to the tone. It is a wonder to hear!
